This is a hypothetical scenic design model box. The show’s acts explore themes of sexual repression and liberation in British colonial Africa and London 1979 respectively. The first act focuses on the way strict colonial power structures mirror sexual repression while the second act explores the nature of sexual freedom, same-sex relationships, and gender fluidity in a more modern world.
