Carmilla is a new work written byJacqueline Vellandi based on the 1872 novella written by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. The show explores themes of vampirism, isolation and desire. This production was a student works meaning all organization, rehearsal running, set, costumes and lighting was all done by students. I served as a scenic designer as well as the technical director and props associate. I pulled and altered stock to suit our show and created the portrait and tombstone by hand.
